The Banyan tree, symbolic of prosperity and good luck in asian lore, puts down roots from its aerial branches. It may send out hundreds of roots throughout its lifetime, each one growing to trunk size and supporting the growth of the mother tree. One tree may span many acres in this way. So too does your soul grow from its experiences in the many planes. Each life is like one of these roots, the soul having send down a part of itself into a more or less physical incarnation to learn and grow.

Set in the Banyan's trunk is an asian spirit house. These structures are seen all over parts of China, Thailand and other asian countries. Their purpose is to attract the spirits so that they will be friendly to the humans who give them shelter and occasional offerings of food and drink. This spirit house represents multiple lives you have lived in the Far East. There you have lived as poor man and rich, learned mendicant and uneducated peasant. Your interest in martial skills and asian medicinal traditions stems from your lifetimes lived there. You will find that these things come very naturally to you, and they may not to others, as you were well versed in their use in more than one lifetime.

Within the spirit house you see a small galaxy. The spirit house here acts as a portal to another universe. From its gate emerges a being composed of swirling,violet energies. In this state it dances amongst the stars, sampling the frequencies of suns and planets as we might from a smorgasborg. It lives its life in joy, every moment an adventure. Its presence here is to remind you of this state. This is you in non physical form. It too is a form of incarnation, a life time lived without body, yet still only part of you. A root thrown down from Mother soul. When you meditate upon this image, it is possible to experience a part of the bliss of sheer existence.

Beneath the spirit house sits ( levitates?) another being. She is wise and intelligent and well versed in manipulation of energy. The blue flame which rests just above her hands indicates this knowledge and is symbolic of its use in the healing arts. Light blue is a color frequency used by healing brotherhoods throughout the universe.

Look into her eyes and see both mystery and challenge. Do you yet dare to seek the knowledge she has to give you? In opening yourself to this lifetime you open yourself to knowledge of a reality far different from that which you currently accept. Her people lived in forests not so different from those we know here although their understanding of the life which flowed through them is beyond that yet experienced by humankind. They saw the life flowing in veins between all life and themselves as but part of that web. Look through her eyes and see a glowing web of life surrounding and connecting all things. Manipulation of energies was always done with this web in mind. Nothing was touched if it disturbed the web. In this way they lived in a beautiful balance and harmony with all of nature.
