Frank & Matt Doti operate an outdoor model train layout, the Snowshoe & San Juan, located at 8000 feet in the San Juan Mountains north east of Durango, Colorado.
The Snowshoe & San Juan is based on the D&RGW narrow gauge railroad of Southern Colorado during the late 1940's to early 1950's. The layout is a point to point line with a reverse loop at one end and a turntable at the other end. The major towns featured along the line include; Dulce, New Mexico, Rockwood, Colorado, and Silverton, Colorado.
