Inaugural Dischoops Tournament.
A special thanks goes out to Taylor Cascino, Ian
Ranahan, Jim Lemmons, Idris Nolan, DJ Patel, Adam Levinthal, Matt Bruss, Dan Schneider and
everyone else who's had a hand in fine tuning the rules and exploring
new ways to play the game.

Dischoops is an exciting and entertaining
new FrisbeeŽ based team sport played with two arches (using two separate
lengths of 32 foot long aluminum tubing) on the interior of the playing
field to be used as gateways to goal scoring areas
(similar to how La Crosse has goals on
the insides of the field).
Teams of four play against each other with a goal being scored when a
pass that enters through the goal mouth is completed in the goal area .
Once a team scores, the field reverses and the team in possession
attacks the opposite goal. A game consists of four 15 minute
quarters.
The SF Crows defend against a flying Frank Huguenard as he attempts a jump shot.
Jeff Hager defends the goal.
Taylor Cascino gets his defender up in
the air and then throws around him with one of his patented Jump Push
shots for a score.
Dan Schneider performed admirably as Official Gamekeeper
and earned himself the job as the sport's Officiating Czar
SF Crows Brian Bogle and Paul 'Gump' Davis
laugh it up
during the Crows route of Raynor Park, 51-22.
Inaugural Tournament coverage and controversy
surrounding Dischoops in the
press.
A radical departure from all previous disc related field
sports, the basic rules for
Dischoops allow self caught passes, self caught scores, jump passes, defenders are
allowed to make contact with the disc while it's in the thrower's hand,
there are free
throws for both personal and team fouls and much, much more. There are plenty of other twists, changes and additions in
the game to increase scoring and make the game very enjoyable. See
the Summary of changes and
About sections for more details.
