Liberty's Blog
Liberty's Blog had an excellent month in May. June is off to a great start also. Two things seem to have helped in this.
- 1: The new Blogger, It just indexes better, some hits are about people curious about it. It also allows me to post better formated stuff easier.
- 2: Atom feed. I have to confess. I never understood what the big deal was. Kuff gently prodded me about an RSS feed, and I took him up up on it with my atom feed. I subscribed to Bloglines and it all fell together. I have quick access to a bunch of blogs, and I get my post out to a lot of bloggers. Kuff has also been very generous about linking to me.
Google is stil very generous to me. I get lots of hits from them. The Jon Matthews Story is getting lots of looksees. I see the blog as a means of providing news that seems to spiked by the the media, as well as a place to talk about my own interest. If the local media did their job, I wouldn't have as much to write about. Local Galveston news doesn't get much coverage, unfortunatly I haven't kept up with it as much as I should. This is something I can work on. I would like to do more on a personal level and about things with a local flavor. Galveston is a pretty nice place, and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm.
