Lock onto cause of dead battery

A dead battery, one recent cold morning, found me at the service shop. Tests indicated the system was charging properly with no battery drain. I asked if the test were done with the doors locked. They were not. A second test (car locked), revealed a misaligned trunk lock switch. Switch repaired, battery charged, problem solved.
