Wow. the CSS resume that I setup is really screwed up in IE. I have been developing/retrofiting (whatever) strictly in Firefox. Figured I would get that all straighted up in Firefox and then go back and massage as necessary to get it looking right in IE. I may have to actually use an agent detector and setup a page for each one.
I have to say: Physics is super cool. I have been reading The Physics of Superheroes and it just awesome how the author is able to tie in all kinds of physics principals to explain various superpowers, albeit requiring at least one leap of faith. I have already read The Physics of Star Trek and can't wait until I get to The Physics of Christmas and Beyond Star Trek. So many books so little time. It's a disease. I can't seem to stop buying books. I've got an incredible back log.
Maybe I'll sit down one day and catalog all my books with ISBN Numbers, scanned in front/back covers, flaps and all. While I'm at it I might as well catalog all my CDs, as well, with the cover art, of course.

Couple of things:
First updating my resume and I must admit that, to my dismay, Internet Explorer renders it closer to what I want. This coming from a huge Firefox advocate. Not that Firefox render the page completely wrong; it renders just a little off. It doesn't look as good as it does in IE. Ew! If fell dirty just saying that.
Regardless, I had to change/update some content and make a small layout change, i.e., table cell alignment, and it was a mess. This definately has to be updated to CSS. The nested table layout that I initially used is a complete mess. It took me forever to get the aligment just right, but it was real pain.
The other thing I wanted to say was that my sister had to go in for surgey because her doctor found a growth in her thyroid. He thought it might be cancerous so he removed half her thyroid and sent off to the lab for analysis.

Well I finally added some more content to my website check out the section about my car if your interested. Went out to the Saucer last night and got me three huge Steins? Also met some people there. Pretty cool. They talked to me and I talked to them. And then they wanted to keep talking to me. Fairly unusual. Looked like two of the three guys worked at the same place and the girl was a teacher from Russia.

Just got finished watching Punch Drunk Love, again, and I have to say that it is very kooky movie. I remember the first time that watched this movie. I saw it in a theather and could feel the adrealine/emotional surge course through my body during the scene when Barry and Lena get hit by the four brothers. That was a pretty intense scene.
Did you know that the Bourne Identity (2002), with Matt Damon, was remake of an older 1988 version? Starring Richard Chamberlain no less. I found it a Fry's Electronics while looking for the Matrix Box Set. I was going to get the other Bourne Indentity and the Bourne Supremecy, but decided to find a set of them. Unfortunately they didn't have one. So I bought the 1988 version.
Much ado about scorpions...
While sitting on the floor in my apartment, eating some taco smell, of course, I noticed something on the floor. It was moving. Well I thought it was a bug.
Some background info might be in order. My apartment seems to be veritible entomological resort. I don't know who put the signs out, but they are out there. So therefore, I have seen a veritible cornicopia of the local insect kingdom. From beetles, June bugs, and millipedes to Black Widows, Wolf Spiders, and Silverfish. Well I can now add another addition to the list: scorpions.
But I digress. I saw something moving along the floor, next to the Sun machines I have come by recently (that, in and of itself, is another story). Tried as I might, I was unable to indentify the object that was transgressing across the floor, so I decided to have closer look. As I stumbled to my knees from my semi cross-legged position, I was unable to discern what I was observing so I moved in closer. It was only then that after very close and careful inspection that I was able to come the realization that what I was seeing was an acutal scorpion! I have never, to the best of my recollection, seen a live scorpion outside the glimpses from various nature television programs.
Well Karma be dammned, I proceded to grab a shoe and make the archnid part of the carpet.
From: DirectorI was quite infuriated, needless to say. I sent the following to a few people that I know and trust at work:

Please take your personal manuals/books home. You will be limited to 5
personal books here at the office. All STBTC software and hardware should
be placed back in their storage area. If you can not find the place where
they belong, bring them to me. The extra bookshelf will removed. You need
to get things setup so that you are only using the desk space within you
cubicle area. Your work area will be inspected next Friday @ 11:30am. If
you have any questions, let me know.

The thumb of opression applies an ever increasing pressure upon those who
cannot or will not bend to their conformity. In my quest for knowledge,
there have been many set backs; but none so great as to try to remove my
ability to aquire that knowledge.
I feel slightly better.
