Timing/Location of Next SessionThe next game session (Session 21) is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008. We will play at Mark's house at 11:00 AM. Plot/Conflicts for Next SessionMy presumption, as GM, is that this session will focus on the group following up on its promise to Analia, that they would assassinate her uncle and clanhead, Drayis of Erm. To do so, they will need to travel to the family's estates in the remote Ostenor district on the borders of Hefiosa. Hefiosa is dangerous territory, inhabitated by bandits, Hefiosan hill-people who are no better than bandits— and some say strange beasts and monsters. My expectation is that this activity, and preparations for it, will occupy the whole of the session— possibly longer. Still, if they do not, players may wish to think about other actions/conflicts the PCs might wish to pursue upon returning to Coranan (assuming they are successful and not captured/killed). Some such conflicts/challenges that may be worth thinking about (not only as a 'backup' plan for this session, in case the assassination goes very quickly), include:
I don't think trying to work in something else *really* major, like meeting with the Agrikans on "the Ivashu question" would also be resolvable— and I think that's something that David should really be there for anyway. Updating Beliefs?Mark has updated one of Bowdyn's beliefs (about Hillay) based on the events of last session. I wnated to suggest that some of the rest of you might want to update your character's beliefs, based on the current set of issues and conflicts in the campaign. In fact, you might even want to consider modifiying a belief— at least temporarily— relating to your promise to assissinate Drayer. (David: Maban really has got to update one of her beliefs-- having the blank ??? in isn't earning you any Artha).
