About Burning Wheel

This campaign will use the Burning Wheel (Revised) rules, developed by Luke Crane.

No prior knowledge of Burning Wheel is required, although players will find it helpful— if not essential— to have the two main books of the revised system: the brown Burning Wheel Fantasy Roleplaying System book and the red Character Burner. Players should also review the rules errata at the Burning Wheel website.

Players may also wish to famliarize themselves with the green Monster Burner book. (Please note that the Monster Burner was developed for the first edition of the Burning Wheel rules and is not 100% compatible with the revised rules. There are Monster Burner Errata, however, which update the monster creation rules for the revised edition.)

Resources for Burning Wheel

In addition to the basic rules found in the rulebooks and errata, there are some excellent resources for Burning Wheel available on the Burning Wheel Wiki. These include:

• Character Sheets (including editable sheets and character burning worksheets)
• The Mount Burner (rules for horses and other mounts)
• Preview chapters from the forthcoming Magic Burner, including:

• Fan-created Lifepaths (not all are Hârn-appropriate, but some are)
