This page will contain brief overviews of specific locations (other than Coranan) that are settings within the City of Red Domes campaign.

Shiran

In Session 11, the PCs journeyed to the city of Shiran, Tharda's second biggest city, in order to visit their fellow Ilvirans at the Temple of the Seafarer Ibenis.

There, they met with Gwydion of Morric, head priest of the Shirani order. They had a long and passionate debate with him about his order's involvement in trafficking Ivashu for use in the arena. In this debate, they persuaded Gwydion to halt its Ivashu-trading activities at least through the end of the pilgrimmage season, in exchange for a donation of several hundred pence to cover lost revenues.

The group also examined the moldy tomes in the temple library. The young missionary Kara stayed in Shiran to assist in copying these texts for their own temple.

While in Shiran, the Agrikans were parading a particularly viscious Ivashu around the city in a cage. It broke free of its case and rampaged through the main square, killing several bystanders and one Demon Pameshlu Guard.

In Session 17, Bowdyn returned from his quest to find that his wife, Hillay, had traveled to Shiran to attend the Halean annual festival, the Banquet of Delight, there.

Above is a link to a map of Shiran, with the Temple of the Seafarer Ibenis marked in purple.

Taztos

Taztos mapFrom Session 14 through Session 17, the PCs visited Taztos, a Thardic fort along the Salt Route, deep in the heart of Tulwyn tribal territory.

While there, they spoke with many of the soldiers, dined with the garrison commander, Garryl Stopez, and arranged for the body of a slain Elder Brood Ivashu to be roughly pickled.

They did not personally witness any manifestations of the famed ghosts of Taztos, nor did they encounter any strange phenomena (such as mysterious disappearances) assosciated with the site. They did , however, hear about such things, as well as about other tales and legends associated with the fort, including the mysterious Hill of the Dark Grove, the visit of Lothrim to the site, and a tale of hidden treasure.

While there, they aslo encountered a pair of scholars, Malaris of Shostim and Kedoran of Moris (from Coranan) who were conducting a series of excavations of old barrows, much to the unease of the garrison soldiers.

Thoff

In Session 11, two PCs journeyed (secretly) to the village of Thoff. This rural village, which stands alongside a great wood, is the seat of Clan Khonary, who have a substatnial and wealthy villa. It is home to Senator Withas of Khonary and his young wife. It is there that they assassinated Punat of Khonay, the Senator's cousin.
