Hârn

I was introduced to role-playing games (RPGs) back in 6th grade through Dungeons & Dragons. I played D&D avidly through high school, and explored a few other games, such as Traveller, Gamma World, Villains & Vigilantes, and GURPS, but my gaming came to a halt during college. I've started playing again about 5-6 years ago, using (almost exclusively) the Hârn world environment and the Hârnmaster rules system created by N. Robin Crossby and published by Columbia Games.

I won't try to explain what Hârn is here or why I find it so much more interesting than your typical high-powered, swords-and-sorcery, hack-and-slash, fantasy RPGs. Those who are already familiar with Hârn already know why it's the best fantasy setting around— and those unfamiliar with it won't find anything of interest here anyway.

The City of Red Domes

My next campaign will be set in Coranan (“The City of Red Domes”) in the Thardic Republic.

The player characters will be a group of Ilviran missionaries from Kaldor, seeking to found a temple and spread their faith in Hârn's largest city.

Cuthren Village: The Campaign

I previously ran four-player campaign set in the village of Cuthren, located in the Kingdom of Rethem. The campaign ran for about 1-2 years.

Drafts of Harn Articles

Drawing of Quill & Book

These are drafts of articles intended for use in Hârn using Hârnmaster Gold rules. These are not finished products, but I am making them available to other Hârn enthusiasts who may find the ideas useful, even though they're not yet fully developed:

The Hârn Religion Team

The Hârn Religion Team (HRT) is a group of Hârn enthusiasts who are committed to developing and expanding upon the religions of Hârn. In recent months, the HRT has been relatively inactive, but it still exists and serves as a useful resource for Hârn gamemasters and players. For several years, I have been the coordinator of the HRT areas on General Issues and on the Church of Agrik:
