205 MOSES BOSTICK Will

"...being weak in body...". First I give my sister Ann Bostick my bay horse & bed & furniture & all my debts & demands & cash. To my sister Elizabeth Bostick my young mare & the rest of the stock that is to be mine. To my sister Mary the tract of land wheron I have improved & still & all the rest of my possessions, rifel, tools & all other things that is found of mine. My will & desire is that nun of the boys shall have any concerns in my affair William, John, Abalom nor that Absalom should ever have my land nor part of it nor the timber. I desire that the three garls will sew the Exrs. for not serving and Absalom for making use of the estate and not giving any body any account of the stalk nor crops nor takes out his part of the crop but sels the hole as it soots him as his own.

Halifax Co. ty Testamentary words spoken by Moses Bostick the 2d May 1786 at his Mothers the day before his decease in presence of James Arnold & Elizabeth his wife being cautioned of the approach of death & what he desired should be done with his estate said his sister Mary should have his land & still, also her choice of the three lots hereafter mentioned (to wit) his riding horse, also his mare & thirdly a feather bed, a cow & calf & sow & piggs, my ryfle gun smooth bore & all my working tools to be sold & equally among the three garles the two mentioned after his sister Mary has her choice he ordered to his other two sisters. Elizabeth Arnold Also in the evening the sd day being ast by John Crews which of all his brothers he desired should have his land on which he expressed I want Mary to have the land for I have rather she should have it than any of the rest. s/ John Crews 6 May 1786 James Arnold & Elizabeth his wife, & John Crews made Oath to the above statements by Moses Bostick at his Mothers the day before his death.
