Phase I - Establishing Y-chromosome signatures for living "Symes/Sims" Families worldwide

Establishing Y-chromosome signatures for living "Symes/Sims" Families - The goal of this project is to better understand the biological relationships among "Symes/Sims" families and to connect "Symes/Sims" families around the world.

If you are not familiar with DNA or Y-chromosomes, you can learn more about Y-chromosome analysis.

To become a DNA participant in this project, order a sampling kit from FamilyTree DNA by completing an application to join the study. We recommend either the Y-DNA25 or the Y-DNA37 test rather than the Y-DNA12 test. Using the above link and a credit/debit bank card, you will get discounted study pricing. (See our due diligence at bottom.)

If you want to share your test results with others, and we hope that you will, please be sure you indicate this on the paperwork that will accompany your sampling kit. Return the kit and the paperwork directly to FamilyTree DNA.

DNA testing results are here.
