In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.
JOHN CHAPTER 1
-
There is a lot of people that do not believe that Jesus Christ,
is God himself. But the truth is that JESUS CHRIST
IS THE ALMIGHTY. This I will demonstrate as follows: In Malichi
chapter three, Jehovah said through the mouth of the Prophet: "Behold,
I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the
Lord, whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger
of the covenant, whom ye delight in:" Carefully, pay attention to the
following; God said: "I" and "my messenger" and "before
me". Every Bible student knows that "my messenger" is speaking of John
the Baptist. God, (Jehovah), said that John the Baptist would come before
him (God, Jehovah) preparing the way. But all of us know without doubt,
that John the Baptist came before Jesus Christ. What happened? Did God
lie? No! "and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his
temple". That is right; That was God (Jehovah), that at the fulfilling
of his Word came to his temple. What was that temple? Jesus Christ!
Glory to the Lord! He clearly is telling us that Jehovah (God himself)
would descend to a temple, whom we knew as Jesus Christ, and in that manner
we see all of the scripture running in harmony. Now we can understand ;
why our Lord Jesus Christ said in John (14-7): "If ye had known me, ye
should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and
have seen him. Oh! my brother, let's not be blind; He clearly told them,
that He, was the fulfillment of the scripture that said: and the Lord,
whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple". It was Jehovah dwelling
fully in that human body that was his son, conceived by the Holy Ghost.
Philip experienced unbelief like many today that can not believe that
Jesus Christ is the Almighty. Let us continue reading in John 14 (8-10):
"8) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast
thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and
how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am
in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I
speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."
Truly, I rejoice tremendously in the Word of the Lord, thus we see it can
not fail. Man is who fails when interpreting it. Apostle Paul sent to us
the Gentiles, said in Romans (9-5): "Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom
as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who is over all, God blessed for
ever. Amen." Don't you rejoice precious soul when seeing these truths?,
it does not matter what the world say's, God already said; His Word is
always perfect. We can understand clearly John chapter one. We see that
the Word was with God and that the Word was God. And in John 1-14 we understand
that when the Word was made flesh, then we saw Jesus Christ. Once again
it was demonstrated to us that when Jehovah came down to his temple, this
was no more or less than the Word, which is God himself making himself
flesh, and dwelling amongst men, whom frequently reject Him for any human
interpretation that contradicts the Bible. We have many scriptures that
prove without doubt, that Jesus Christ is truly the God Almighty. Remember...
if Jesus Christ is not God, then Jehovah lied when he said "His messenger"
would come before Him. Also Jesus Christ lied when he said that He and
his Father are one. God does not lie! God does not want his people confused
ignoring His true identity. It was due to this that Apostle Paul said in
Colossians 2 (8-10): "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy
and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the
world, and not after Christ. 9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of
the Godhead bodily. 10)And ye are complete in him, which is the head of
all principality and power:" The word "Godhead" means the condition of
being God. When the Bible says that in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fulness
of the Godhead bodily, this is God in his totality. Somebody could argue
that Jesus Christ and God can not be the same person, because in John 14-28
Jesus Christ said: "...for my Father is greater than I.", In a way that
if the Father is greater than the son, then the Father and the son can
not be the same. My brothers and sisters, that reasoning is valid, if
you do not know the Scriptures. Thus, we know that God (the Father) is
spirit, and Jesus Christ (the son) is flesh. We understand that the Spirit
is greater than the flesh. Amen! Then. "the Father is greater than the
son". This in anyway contradicts the truth that the Father and the son
are one, and the same person. Do not forget: "And the Word (...and the
Word was God) was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." Truly, His Word
is perfect! When the Word was made flesh, truly we saw our precious Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ, which being immortal, made himself mortal to be
able to pay the debts for all of those who love him, and obey his commandments.
