Slightly Stoopid is a Skunk Records band out of San Diego CA. Miles (vocals, guitar), Kyle (bass, vocals) team up with an all-star cast of beat masters to perfect the sounds of Rock, Reggae, Metal, Dub, Hip Hop, and Punk. Discovered by the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime, who signed Slightly Stoopid to
his own record label Skunk Records. Since signing with Skunk they have released three full-length albums and have toured heavily throughout the United States. Considered by many as the "house band" for the surf/skate/snow industry, their music has been featured in numerous culture videos, television programs, and action sports events such as the ESPN X-Games and FOX Sports events. 

In 1998 Slightly Stoopid released their second album "The Longest Barrel Ride", which is the top selling album on Skunk Records. Working with "Dub Master" Miguel, this sophomore effort is packed with traditional Rasta Dub, but this time the boys from Ocean Beach take it to another level. The infusion
of metal, including the patent "Stoopid" punk and reggae tinge, making their second release a breakthrough album that comes at you with full Jedi Force. 

Slightly Stoopid has already toured the nation with bands such as Sublime, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Blink 182, Bad Brains, Eek A Mouse, Fishbone, Buju Banton plus they have played support dates on Gregory Isaacs, Coolio, Black Eyed Peas,Jurassic 5, The Vandals, Unwritten Law and Barrington Levy
shows. Slightly Stoopid was one of the most impressive bands at this years Reggae on the Rocks festival at Red Rocks Amphitheatre as they won over a crowd of 8,000 people. They headlined last year's Winter and Summer X Games, and impressed crowds of over 10,000 people on the 2001 Warped Tour. They are always considered the west coast's ultimate college party band. Packing clubs across the nation. Slightly Stoopid's versatility and raw talent is exuded in their live shows. Strapped with a huge repertoire of original Slightly Stoopid tracks and freestyles along with their own versions of rock, reggae, hip-hop, and punk-rock classics, this band has been known to play throughout the night and leave their fans still wanting more. The Future Slightly Stoopid has become the west coasts biggest independent band creating a scene everywhere they go. With a huge and growing cult following big things are ahead for Slightly Stoopid. Earlier this year they released "Acoustic Roots" a live to the radio acoustic album that was recorded on Rock 105.3 KIOZ in San Diego. Acoustic Roots has sold over 7,000 records to date with no marketing or distribution. With a new studio album on the way featuring tracks produced by an all star cast of producers such as Scientist, T-Ray, G love and Special Sauce and of course Miguel and Marshall (Sublime, Long Beach Dub, Unwritten Law) this next studio album will be one of the biggest and
phattest albums of 2002. Look for Slightly Stoopid to be in your neighborhood this summer. Slightly Stoopid will be touring the nation for 8-weeks with Buju Banton and G Love and Special Sauce starting August 18th.
