Cyril Jordan recently completed oil paintings recreating Nuetzell's FAMOUS MONSTERS cover art for the prized early issues #4, 5, 6 and #7. Above is prior to final touches by Cyril. FM #7 was the 1st monster magazine to feature a contemporary horror personality on the cover: Zacherley in 1960.

This oil painting of Famous Monsters #6 is another recreation by artist Cyril Jordan. Again, the photo here doesn't quite do it justice as Cyril added more detail and color shortly after. Sold for $500. A tribute to the original by Nuetzell.
