A friend and I will be starting a medieval styled garden in Santa Cruz, CA. We are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism. We currently have our "bit of dirt", and a rough plan. We hope to have broken ground by the end of May 2003. Stay tuned for more information, and pictures of our progress.

Known as Brigit Thornwielder and Brid Hecgwiht in the SCA, we have (with the help of our friend Adelheid) started a low volume chat list through Yahoo. West-gardeners will hopefully be a resource for those interested in the application of gardening in the "Middle Ages".

This project is defunct, but the yahoo group is still alive, and we all hope to grub in the dirt more in the future.
