Talking to Myself

I just changed the name of my blogger--I decided that From My Loft was too much like From My Front Porch.

Today has been a busy day, but I'm not sure that I got as much accomplished as I had hoped.
I did get the invitations for our Christmas party printed (and addressed). Lynda bought stamps and will put the stamps on the cards so we can mail them tomorrow.
A friend came by late yesterday afternoon and cleaned leaves out of our gutters. I got most of the leaves up today with the leaf vacuum.
C. L. had brought some mustard greens ($5-worth) by on Monday. I finally finished washing and packaging them for the freezer. This is the first time that we have frozen mustard greens.

Monday went by too fast! I spent a good deal of time working on photographs from our European trip. I too a bunch of digital shots and needed to do some cropping. I will eventuallly get some of them posted on a web site.
Tuesday is election day--runoff in the race for mayor.
We also went to the funeral of a friend this morning.

The concert last night in Memphis was good. We got home around midnight. I stayed up until about 2 a.m., so had to force myself to stay awake during church services this morning.
We are about to go to an "open house" at one of the antique stores here in town.
