The Democrats set up what strangely looks like a concentration camp for those that might consider protesting during the conventions. It is nice to see they have so much respect for the right of peaceful assembly in Boston.

But Democrat control Boston isn't stopping at limiting outoftown protestors they are working hard to oppress local businesses. Drudge reports
Boston has chased away businesses by closing down that part of town to normal commuters and public transportation, and even encouraged businesses to shut down for the week. Usually conventions are encouraged by most cities as an economic boost. Apparently Boston and the Democrats see business as the enemy and are doing every thing they can do to jack boot the protestors, and make the local businesses miserable. This convention has cost the city of Boston a lot of money, to support the Democrats. It does nothing for the taxpayer except make theit lives a little more miserable during a hot summer week in the city. I'm sure glad I'm not a Boston taxpayer.
The 24-foot-long sign at Halftime Pizza across the street from Boston's FleetCenter isn't exactly welcoming to the Democratic National Convention: "Say!!!!! D.N.C. Thanks for Nothing!!! Go Bush."
Security measures and the availability of free food for delegates led Mark Pasquale, owner of Halftime, to shut his restaurant down for the week of the convention and erect the sign.

On Friday, WRKO-AM's Peter Blute and Scott Allen Miller reported how Pasquale has been confronted by city inspectors who have threatened to fine him unless he takes the anti-Dem sign down!
Pasquale told Blute and Scotto that while he doesn't want any trouble, he will continue to exercise his First Amendment rights by keeping the sign up in spite of any fines.
