Blogging Slow Down

I've been a little negligent about blogging this week. I had some dental work done and it has made me a little miserable. The Great Debate left me more than a little bored. The questions were completely uninspired, and the responces flat, canned and repetitive.

Work has kept me pretty busy also. We have a booth at the ISA show. I'm looking forward to it. This is a chance to meet up with some old friends and to see all the new stuff out there. The one negative about it is that every time I go to one of these shows I see what was once a great company just go further down the crapper. Foxboro distances themselves further away from the Sun Unix stuff and pushes the cheaper crash prone Windows stuff. The good thing is that as they question their own ability to support their older products, we make good money doing so.

Work has been throwing me lots of challenges. NASA has geared up on me, and I have some programming to to do, for them. It also looks like I'm going to be entering the world of embedded computing. I will be programming the AVR series from Amtel. Pretty neat stuff.
