In simple terms: We believe we are saved by the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the only norm of doctrine and life.
Our Logo
Our logo consists of the letters L I F E. The circular shape signifies that the Life of a Christian is made whole and complete only in Christ. The character within the center of the alphabet "I" means "Lord" in Chinese. It symbolizes the Lord is in the heart of a Christian and the center of a Christian's life. Our logo portrays that anyone (I) can experience the renewal of LIFE through the salvation of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Brief History
Life Lutheran Church held its first Sunday Worship on Oct 8, 1995 in El Sobrante, CA, with a focus on the Chinese population in the area. Life Lutheran Church has been dedicated in serving its neighboring communities with the love of Jesus Christ .
