Okay, I guess I pattern myself after Mary Pride when it comes to researching curriculum, but I really do enjoy finding out what's out there and using it if it looks like it would be good for us. Here are some good curriculum links that we've either used ourselves or I've reasearched that would work well with teens.

Listen, My Son - we're using this 4 year unit study and my son absolutely loves it! It's originally intended for high school, but he's going into the 8th grade and loves it! If you want a Christ centered curriculum that really preprares your son for LIVING in the future, this is it! (You can also buy this from King's Harvest)

Saxon Math - we just like Saxon Math because it explains each new concept well, while giving plenty of reinforcement of old lessons learned.

Far Above Rubies - while it's true that I don't have a daughter, if I did I'd give this 'unit study for living' curriculum a spin.

The Shurley Method English program - They have a level 7 that can be used during 7th and 8th grades. This is a great program, especially if you have a student that hasn't really grasped a lot of English concepts.

Rod and Staff - I love these guys! Their curriculum is so easy to teach and so basic. The math reminds of when I went to school. They don't really have a website, other than the link I have provided,
but you can contact them at (606) 522-4348. They have basic, good quality material with a Christian base at VERY reasonable prices!
