This repeater is 100% solar powered. It is located on Castle Mountain 85 miles northwest of Bakersfield at 4400 feet elevation. It is equiped with a 220 Mhz,440 Mhz and 2 meter remote. It is linked into Bakersfield, Ca. to the KG6KKV tri-band repeater at 1000 feet elevation. The frequences of the tri-band repeater are 224.520- PL 100 /147.150+ PL 100/ 51.880- PL 114.8
This way the AA6GZ repeater is linked into the ARRG System and can be used to communicate all the way from Sacramento, Ca. to Frazier Park & Palmdale, Ca.
