Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect

 

PLUR is the acronym for the foundation of the rave community for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. At a rave, it becomes a feeling, or a "vibe" that echoes throughout the party environment to each individual. This vibe is the reason everyone can feel comfortable and forget about how badly the world can treat all of us sometimes. Often we're brought down by the weight of the world. Raves are a place where you can feel open and free again, almost re-experience the innocence that you once knew as a child, and in an environment where you may be overwhelmed with sensual pleasure flowing from movement of the music, pulsing through your body.
