Our Wonderful Family! |
|
Genealogy The
most difficult thing in Genealogy is to resist the temptation to report
speculation as fact. |
|
Some of the more predominant surnames in my data base: |
|
Mullins / West / Bailey / Mullinax |
|
Stephenson / Peay / Keele |
|
Taylor / Armstrong |
|
Bucknum / Gough / Howser |
|
Note - Rather than try to show a multitude of files, I've decided to just provide my Family Tree Maker data base in compressed mode. To view the data base you will have to purchase the Family Tree Maker program, then click here updated: 03 July 2010. |

Memories of my youth in Okmulgee Co. Okla This is a Google Earth
file. You need Google Earth installed
on your computer. Just open the file then
start clicking on the various waypoints and polygons. Note – Internet explorer will rename the file as a ZIP file, but Google Earth will still open it or the DOC.KML file inside of the ZIP file.. |

Calling all male Stephenson |
|
Due to a log-jamb in the
Stephenson lines during the 1700's it may be that gene testing will be the
only way to unravel this gosh-awful mess! The best company for doing
this appears to be Family Tree DNA. Click on the link and check them
out. The 37 marker test is really the only one to do. Y-DNA testing of male
descendants of the Rockingham Co. VA line of Stephenson's may be our only
hope. The
Stevenson/Stephenson/Stinson YDNA project is here. |
