New IC repaint of the new SD40-2!
Available NOW! (3 MB)
January 29, 2003. The new IC SD40-2 repaint is now available here (3 MB). It should be uploaded to train-sim.com in a couple of days. The repaint includes a repainted cab and custom horn created from a real IC SD40-2 horn that I recorded at Cobden, IL on Easter weekend of 2002. Thanks to John Rosh and The Keystone Works for letting me use the blank black texture from their Norfolk Southern repaint!

January 27, 2003. No update for awhile, huh? Sorry about that. See what I've largely been up to since mid-late December here. The new SD40-2 repaint is very near release now. I've got a custom horn for it that I've been working on (the horn by TA, while good, sounds nothing like IC to me). I have the looping almost satisfactory now, so I expect it to be done in a couple of days. Also, there will be route update information appearing here in the next week! Lots of new custom buildings for Cobden and Carbondale, etc. Last but certainly not least, the SD70 project is still trudging along. I should have some new screenshots soon (hint hint, maybe to accompany some new scenery in Carbondale?).

November 3, 2002. David Klemm has uploaded version 1.0 of the IC route to train-sim.com! There is both an update version (requires the previous nine .zip files) and for the first time there is a standalone full download, weighing in at 88 MB. The latest version includes signals, more scenery, and more new vehicles (tractor-trailers). See the list of file names here.
