KOLORASH is a folk dance band specializing in the folk music of Eastern and Northern Europe (primarily Hungary, Romania, Scandinavia, and the Balkans). Sometimes soft and sweet, sometimes rough-edged and primitive sounding, all the music we play is meant for dancing.

We can often be seen playing for (and dancing with) the Austin International Folk Dancers on a Saturday night at the Hancock Recreation Center.

The name, KOLORASH, is an American misspelling of the town in Romania where Lisa's grandmother was born.
