Private Violin/Fiddle Instruction

PLEASE NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY, I AM NO LONGER TAKING ANY NEW STUDENTS AT THIS TIME. I'm just keeping this information up for reference purposes.

If you've always wanted to play the violin, it's never too late to start.

I specialize in teaching adult beginners.

Whatever style you wish to pursue, I focus on getting you comfortable with the basics of the instrument in a relaxed, fun way.

I try to always keep in mind that adults pick up a new instrument to have fun, and I try my best to tailor lessons to your musical styles of interest and personal goals.

If you can't read music already, I'll teach you. (Here's a LIST OF BOOKS I have used.) Or, if you can, but you want to learn to play by ear, I can do that too.
