PULPIT MINISTER - Bill R. Day
|

|
Bill
Day began working with the Northwest Church of Christ in
December of 1984 as an associate minister. Bill became the
Pulpit Minister in 1987 and has been with Northwest since
then. MORE
Bill
is the author of a book called The Moses Connection
in John's Gospel which was published in January of
1998. The first two chapters of this book are available
online.

INVOLVEMENT MINISTER
- Rodney Britt |
|
|
|
|
|
Rodney
Britt grew up in Nashville, TN where he attended Lipscomb
University. He has worked with a number of churches across
the country as a youth minister, teacher, preacher, and
worship leader.
Rodney
traveled and sang for four years with the nationally known
group, ACAPPELLA,
as their bass singer. He is still heavily involved with
music and currently sings with a group based out of Texas
known as THE
SOUNDS OF GLORY.
He
has two teenage sons, Josh and Logan, and a little girl
named Hailey. He is married to a wonderful woman, Paula,
who has taught math in the public schools and is now a homemaker. |

HISPANIC MINISTER - Ricardo Cabral
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ricardo
Cabral grew up in Juarez, Mexico. He graduated in 1973 from
the school of preaching in San Antonio, Texas. He has worked
with various churches of Christ in Texas where he would
preach and work with Hispanics.
Ricardo
has made return trips to Juarez, where he preached and established
mission churches. After relocating to Oklahoma City; Ricardo
continued his work at the Airport Road church of Christ,
Drexel church of Christ, and now at Northwest church of
Christ.
Ricardo
has three children and is raising them in the Lord. |

YOUTH MINISTER - Kent
Brown |
|
|
|
|
|
Kent
Brown grew up in Oklahoma City and has attended Northwest
all his life. Kent is currently attending Oklahoma Christian
Univeristy where will graduate in the spring of 2006. While
at OC, Kent met his fiancee, Leah Zeller. They will be married
in April.
Kent
began working with the youth at Northwest as an intern in
the fall of 2003 and became the full time youth minister
the following summer. He is one of the directors of a session
of youth camp each summer at Camp Rock Creek. Kent is also
very involved with Live the Mission, a two week
mission trip for teens to Guyana. Kent enjoys working on
the campus of Oklahoma Christian and with the Area-wide
Youth Ministers. |
