| | We believe Revelation is about the destruction of Rome.
Many churches teach that it is about the end of the world, but there are some
problems with that idea.
 | 1. John wrote this book about 68-69
AD, during the reign of the emperor Vespatian, not Nero or Domitian. He said
twice at the beginning and twice at the end that these things will happen
soon. We believe that "soon" does not mean 2000 years.

| 2. Since "soon" is less
than 2000 years, if it was about the end of the world we would not be here
creating this web page, and you would not be reading it because everyone
would be in heaven (or the other place!)

| 3. Unfortunately, that means the
"Left Behind" series truly is fiction.
