Very nice song released only on her Greatest Hits set and even more effective in video form since it was part of a major festival

This lively rendition blends the music of East and West. It might take a few tries for a new listener to relate to it, but the beat becomes very infectious after a while. I also love the bearded old man who gradually gets into the swing of things.

A different version (MTV-style) with a bit stronger beat and even a little bit of English

Very beautiful song and video. If I have friends over who have never heard of Ofra Haza, this is the one I play for them. They are usually impressed!

This MTV-style video unfortunately has very poor picture quality due to the number of times it was copied. The driving beat is irresistible however. This song was released only on a single CD which is out of print but occasionally shows up on eBay and places like that.

A really exciting and impressive video. I must admit that I did not care for this song much when I first heard it on CD. But in the video - Wow, what a difference! It gets out of synch a bit in places, but this problem was in the original so could not be fixed.

Paint Box (Hebrew Version in Stereo) Dudu Topaz Show & Concept Videos
|
|
|
This is truly "beyond rare". This song was in a very limited release on a single CD which is exceedingly rare and we have never found anyone who has it. It took months even to find an MP3. Now we suddenly have THREE video versions rendered into Hi-Fi Stereo - what a treat! I'd have to give my preference to the concept version. This song was written for and performed at the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo.

Great beat with strong percussion - crank it up! This song was later released in English as "Take Me To Paradise".

Very lovely ballad that gradually builds in intensity. This song was later released in English as "My Aching Heart" but I like this version even better. I love both video versions, but would have to give the edge to the one that is complete. A glitch in the video half way through does not affect the sound.

Catchy beat, Ofra sounds great and looks great - what more could you want? I love both the Shavua Tov Show version and the Zehu Ze Show version, and it is almost a toss-up between them, but if pressed I'd have to give a slight edge to the Shavua Tov Show version.
