Various Covers and Post Cards

Cover with stamps from left to right are Scott# and (SG#): 44(51), 24(29), 38(45), 19(37) or 18(36), 30(33), 43(50), 28(32) and 35(42). Although philatelically contrived, it's still neat. Click to enlarge.

Sierra Leone issued the first self adhesive stamps, and also produced a lot of die cut stamps in 1960s-1970s. When I lived there I kept my lickable stamps in a baggy of talc to avoid having them stick together from the intense humidity.

Postal history from the First Airmail from Sierra Leone.
