We believe that what you write with is as important as what you are writing, so we strive to create the highest quality hand crafted pens and pencils possible. We do not use a production lathe, but prefer to hand craft each pen or pencil one at a time. This allows us to carefully check each one we make, to insure it meets our level of quality and beauty. For our wooden pens and pencils, we select only the most highly figured burls and exotic woods available, and finish the pen or pencil with a clear, hard coat of lacquer, instead of a simple friction polish.
As with our wooden products, when it come to acrylics, we are constantly looking for new materials, and feel we have found some of the most beautiful, eye catching materials on the market. We strongly suggest the TruStone line for that special gift pen, as TruStone is indistinguishable from real stone in weight, density and appearance, Cut, and polished with fine jewelers paste rouge, TruStone pens and pencils shine like a fine sculpture, truly a keepsake or heirloom for the lucky person who receives one.
Other materials include, but are not limited to Fax Paux ivory, real water buffalo horn, and aircraft grade aluminum. If you have a specific material you want crafted into a pen or pencil, just e-mail us for a quote, as we are always looking for new and interesting materials.
All of the appointments in our pens are 24 caret gold plated, and our platinum pens and pencil appointments have a small amount of titanium added to the finish, to increase durability and wear. We want you to use our pens, not just show them off.
With this in mind, we design all of our pens and pencils to use readily available ink and rollerball refills, and our pencils accept standard leads.
Because we feel the quality of our workmanship will far exceed anything you can purchase commercially, we offer this guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with one of our pens or pencils, just return it within 30 days for a complete refund, including shipping and handling. That simple, no reason needed, no explanation required.
