Math 70 – Homework and Test Schedule

Hints on
doing
homework:

  1. Every assignment includes reading the text. Before working the exercises in a given section you should read the material in the section which prepares you for those problems.
  2. Check the answers to your homework problems. When your results are incorrect, you should reread the text and study the examples. If you cannot correct your own errors, make a note of those bothersome problems and ask about them in class.
  3. You will benefit greatly from reading ahead in the text. After completing the homework problems in one section, read the following section to prepare for the next day’s topic.
  4. Many homework exercises require a calculator, so it is recommended that you try using one. The calculator you choose should have an exponential function (an x^y button).
  5. Late homework is discouraged and will not be accepted after the test on that chapter.
