Mission Statement Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work or worship or psychic control or philosophy - by one or more or all of these and be free. Swami
Vivekananda The
freedom we seek is freedom from pain and suffering, i.e., freedom from
stress. It is possible to live life free of this pain and suffering but
in order to do so we must learn how to control our minds and emotions
and direct them along a positive path. Each
of us holds our life in our hands. Where we go and how we live - the quality
of our life - depends on what we believe and think about ourselves. |

In truth, we already are the divinity: "Tat twam asi!" (Thou
art that!), but through some trick of misperception we have forgotten
our divine estate and this has opened the door to physical, mental and
emotional stresses and lead to chronic disease, infirmity and suffering. Our
mission is to provide tools which empower an individual to remove the
misperception/illusion and raise him/herself up into a full awareness
of his/her own Divinity. A
tool is an implement, or a device, or something that is taken up and used
to dervive some benefit. Tools can be many things: a complex series of
physical postures that produce changes in the electromagnetic fields of
the body, or maybe a simple sentence introducing an idea that opens up
a new way of viewing life. In either case, the application of the tool
assists the being to bring about positive change. If you are seeking to improve your life, we welcome you to join the everwidening circle of beings who are taking up the time tested tools of yoga to change and enrich the quality of their lives.
