This is a faster refresh (5 seconds) and a faster FTP upload (5 seconds). (Yes, the refresh is of the applet, not of the page.) (Unlike the other camera page which refreshes itself since it's just a JPG link.)

By the way, if your version of IE uses Java2 1.3.1_02 for applets, this probably won't refresh itself. Email me and I'll tell you how to turn it off so it uses the internal IE functions for applets so it will refresh.

It's still the case of a $30 camera that's only on when I turn it on, which is not much so far, and again, the computer is off 95% of the time anyway.

For those interested, this connection is an ADSL at about 1300 Kbps down and 130 Kbps up. It takes a little over 2 seconds to actually upload the picture, and the size of the jpg is about 20K.
