But if I do get a really bad virus (opposed to the bulk of viruses, which are really wimpy), so what? I just reload my backups of my drives. So. What.
Or I have to reload Windows. Boo Hoo. I'm so sad.
Anti-virus software? If you're at work, you may want it. Or your company make make you run it. Probably that business is also running Office and Outlook. So maybe they need some AV software. That's cool.
If you're paranoid, you may want some Anti-Virus software at home. (Good way to spend money!) But even _I_ _might_ be able to make a reasonable case for running AV software for those of us with DSL or Cable connections. Or then again, I may ask why you're not running a firewall of sorts... Whichever. Whatever.
Other than that, don't bog down your computer with this crap software, pushed by the companies that love viruii. ('Cause they make money on it, doooohhh.)
Good luck.
Oh, yes, by the way, at home, I don't run Office and I don't run Outlook. Surprise!
It's all free mail services and Corel Office. An older version I don't use 90% of. (I'm doing this in Wordpad.....)
