Annick was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied composition with Dr. Daniel Wyman at San Jose State University (SJSU) and Dr. Jeremy Haladyna at University of California, Santa Barbara's College of Creative Studies.

Annick has created over 30 new works for various dance companies in San Francisco since 1999, including Landini Dance Company, The Courage Group, Big Moves, and Spinning Yarns Dance Collective. Annick 's music paired with various dance companies have received several Zellerbach Grants as well as Intersection for the Arts Grants.

She has scored films for the Don Edward’s San Francisco Bay Wildlife Refuge and the College of Notre Dame's Art Therapy Department, which brought her to the film scoring program at Berklee College of Music in Boston. 

Annick's chamber work, Flow, was performed by the Ensemble for Contemporary Music at UC Santa Barbara, conducted by San Francisco Symphony's Edwin Atwater. Her cello and piano duet, Searching for Joy, was adpated for string orchestra and performed by the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, led by Barbara Day Turner.

Annick's music is known for its hypnotic melodies and intricate developments. Her style ranges from solo ragtime piano to classical chamber orchestra to techno.
