Allen Woodcock was born April 13, 1886 in Franklin County, Missouri the youngest son of Isaac and Saloma Woodcock. Allen married Clara Door April 12, 1910

Clara was born August 26, 1886 in Franklin County, Missouri the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Door.

Allen and Clara had eight children:

1. Lilburn Roscoe Woodcock

2. Floyd Woodcock

3. Clyde Woodcock

4. Sophia S. Woodcock

5. Selma Woodcock

6. Violet Woodcock

7. Vernon Oscar Woodcock

8. Otto Harold Woodcock

As far as I know Allen, who was known as "Dude" farmed all his life.  He grew his own tobacco and brewed his own beer.  I remember sampling both as a kid and how strong they were.

Clara could prepare huge meals on her wood burning stove for fifteen people in no time.

Clara died January 6, 1963 and Allen died June 13, 1964.  Both are buried at the Stanton Cemetery in Franklin County, Missouri, along with Lilburn, Floyd, Clyde, Sophia, Vernon and Harold.
