Vernon Oscar Woodcock was born January 03, 1924 in Stanton, Missouri.  Vernon married Ruth Marie Wann, the daughter of Joseph Edgar Wann and Ruth Marie Muehlemann, May 04, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Vernon and Ruth Woodcock had three children:

1. Richard Edgar Woodcock

2. Susan Adel Woodcock

3. Judith Lynn Woodcock

Vernon died February 28, 1998 and is buried at the Stanton Cemetery in Franklin County, Missouri.
