The "first" Woodcock reunion in June was sort of rained out. About twenty-five diehard Woodcocks came, ate and went home and a few made use of the new plumbing improvements at the cabin. The "second" reunion (remember the rain) was in August. The weather was dry, but it was hot and about fifty family members came for the gathering. 8/26/2001

For those of you who were unable to attend either of the reunions this year, there have been some significant improvements made at the cabin.

Cecil Woodcock passed away Saturday morning August 19 after a long illness. His sister Donna Jean was with him at the time of his passing. Cecil was buried next to his beloved wife Beulah in Climax Springs near Camdenton, Missouri. 8/30/2000

Thank you to Myron Woodcock's family for giving all of Myron's genealogical records to the family and this web site.  The quantity and detail is extraordinary and it will take time to organize the information and publish it on this site. 6/16/2000

Jerry Thurmond did it again. He cut the grass and with the help of Ken Woodcock, Mark Woodcock, another Ken Woodcock and Richard Woodcock, he made the water and electricity connections in time for the Reunion next Sunday. Sylvia Thurmond suffered the dust and dirt cleaning out the cabin. 5/28/2000

Don't forget to bring your old photographs to the Woodcock Family Reunion Sunday June 4. Hopefully there will be some major updates to this site in the coming weeks. If you didn't get an invitation, that means I don't have your address or the address I have is wrong.  Let me know who and where you are.

Irene Cowan passed away Thursday morning April 27 after a long illness. Funeral Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church in Sullivan and Irene was interred at Midlawn Cemetery in Union, Missouri. Irene is survived by her husband Elmer and their two sons and two daughters.

Irene and her brother Myron spent twenty years researching our heritage and their considerable contributions will be missed.

Myron Woodcock died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, March 8, of an apparent heart attack. Myron is survived by his three children, Kimberley, Steven and Bruce.  Funeral Services and burial took place in Sullivan, Missouri March18.

We all own Myron a debt of gratitude for his tireless efforts in researching and documenting our Woodcock ancestry and offer our deepest sympathy to his family in this difficult time.  Myron's untimely passing is not only a loss to his children, but the entire family as well.

Thanks to Jerry and the FFA, there is water and electricity at Isaac and Saloma's cabin.  The next reunion should be a little more comfortable.

Thanks to everyone who has sent corrections, new information and comments. If you're a descendant of Anna, Thomas or John we need photographs and any information you may wish to share.
