I Mathias Keen of the County of Franklin in the State of Missouri, do make
and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following
that is to say
-First, it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be
fully paid.
-Second, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy Jane Keen, two heifer
one two years old and the other three years old, one sorrel mare that I
own
at this time in addition to what I have before given her.
-Third, I give ... and bequeath to my beloved wife Rachel Keen, all my
household and kitchen furniture all my stock of cattle, hogs, one bay
horse, one two horse wagon, all my grain and provisions on hand, all my
farming utensils, one rifle gun, all the rest and residue of my personal
estate whatsoever and where soever of what nature, kind and quality
soever,
the same may be and not herein before given and disposed of for her and
her
own use and benefit absolutely.
-Fourth, also I give and bequeath unto John B. Keen my son, one dollar, in
addition to what I have before given him.
-Fifth, also I give and bequeath unto my son Moses V. Keen one dollar in
addition to what I have before given him.
-Sixth, also I give and bequeath unto my son Enoch Keen one dollar in
addition to what I have before given him.
-Seventh, also I give and bequeath unto the heirs of my daughter
Nantissis
Hall one dollar in one dollar in addition to what I have before given her.
- Eighth, also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Ann Adams one
dollar in addition to what I have before given her.
-Ninth, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Woodcock in addition
to what I have before given her one dollar.
-Tenth, I do hereby constitude and appoint my sons John B. Keen and Enoch
Keen, by Executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof
I have here unto set my hand and seal the nineteenth day of December 1855.
