The Fate of Lotus

2005 Legend of the Five Rings Story Event

"At GenCon Indy 2005, the greatest decision in the history of Legend of the Five Rings will be made by one person: whether to grace their Clan with the gift of Enlightenment, or plunge the Empire into Dark Enlightenment. In either case, Rokugan will be forever changed. Are you the one who’s going to change it?"

Scott Rixson, from Overland Park, Kansas won the 2005 tournament. On the main L5R page, he wrote, "Hidden Emperor is when I started playing Legend of the Five Rings ccg. My first starter was Mantis, but quickly changed to Crane when I learned more of the story. I played Crab because of Yasuki Hachi, and with the new alliance in Lotus, I will either play them, Crane or Lion."

The Winning Deck: "Save Enlightenment and make coffee in the morning"
