Trolley Loop - Overhead Pole Installation

If you want to run a trolley using overhead wire you need to have poles to hold the wire up. Using a power auger to drill a hole is so much easier than doing it by hand.

After the hole is dug a pole will be placed in it and cemented in place. The pole truck is used to pick the pole up and put it in place.

A little bit of work is required to ensure that the pole perfectly vertical.

Mix up the cement. Pour it in the hole.

A bit of smoothing and as soon as the cement hardens some the pole truck can release the pole.

All that needs to be done now is to remove the excess dirt that came out of the hole. Then remove the forms around the pole and another step is complete.
