Blogger ate my first version of this. Sometimes I'm very, very grateful that this blog is anonymous. The Chairman of the Board of my employer was giving a conference call to analysts today. He said that we were saddened by the loss of 100 customers in the WTC disaster. An analyst asked for clarification: 100 companies or 100 people? 100 named contacts at a smaller number of companies, he said. But there were opportunities as well as threats in the situation: we hoped that companies rebuilding would turn to our trusted, reliable software. Sunday, September 16, 2001
