I just walked past an animated 5-way hall conversation on a technical subject.
Carried on in French.
I don't think I'm in North Carolina any more.

Scene: The very back of Costco, in front of a magnificent display of lemon, coconut, and chocolate cakes. Our 9-year-old son made a beeline for the chocolate.
Son: "I want one of these fow my next birthday!"
Me: smiled absent-mindedly.
Son: "If I don't get one, I will unleash howwow upon the wowld!"
Husband considered for a moment. "That's certainly worth $12.98."
