September 22-28, 2002

This week Mommy changed my diet.  I am now a BARF fed dog.  BARF is short for Bones and Raw Food.  That is what Jill (my breeder) fed me before I went home.  For now, I get two meals of veggie mush mixed with a bit of kibble and one meal of raw chicken thighs.  Mommy says that I'll get other meats/bones later.   They just got the book "Give your Dog a Bone" by Ian Billinghurst today, so I can only imagine that new food is coming SOON.

I go for walks 2-3 times a day.  I am learning HEEL and how to stop at intersections before crossing the street.  I can't wait to go to the park.  I started puppy kindergarten this week.  There are lots of other puppies there for me to meet.  And the teacher gave me HAM for a treat.  I really liked that!!

I weighed 25.5 pounds at my last vet visit.  Mommy says that I'm growing so fast!  Oh and I saw my brother Cody again last weekend.  He's such a nice friend!  I like biting his ear!

I'm being a silly boy.  I love giving out licks.....and some little nibble bites too!
Daddy is teaching me how to stand properly.  Not too bad for only the second day, huh?

And a sit with "watch me."  They say that we dogs don't like looking into the eyes - but I don't know what the big deal is; I always look at my mommy and daddy!!
