My Philosophy:
At all times, my goal as a Backpacking Instructor is to help you learn the skills you need to continue this sport on your own. Learning and then applying these skills during the course completes the learning experience. Beginner courses are designed for fit participants with no previous camping experience.

Your instructor is a graduate of UC Berkeley, a Certified Wilderness First Responder, and Leave No Trace Trainer who's been backpacking the Sierra for 30 years and teaching backpacking for 20.
