The Book of Nub

Chapter 6

here is no Divine Hierarchy. 2The Goddess does not rule Her Creation: She is Her Creation. 3Neither is the God subordinate to Her although He serves Her in the timeless way that all lovers serve.i 4All of the great and glorious Powers and Principalitiesii of the Universe arise from the Goddess in celebration. 5They are the Joy of Selves discovering and fulfilling Themselves in Their relationship to Others. 6All of Space would be empty, lonely and meaningless were it not for the hot embrace of Time and for the Light and Matter which are Their children.

7Are human males less because the Goddess is the Divine Feminine? 8Are gays and lesbians excluded from their Godhood or in any sense secondary because the Chorus of Creation is the Ecstasy of God and Goddess fucking? 9Is any Being smaller because the Goddess is great? 10No. Hers is the Love of all Creation for Itself. 11Every passionate union of Self and Other is the sparkle in the eyes of Goddess. 12Every human shines with a body of Light that transcends the oppressions to which they have given their Selves for this one lifetime among many. 18For He is Time, and She is Space, and Their union is the Light in which we have our being.

iThe idea that the God and the Goddess are equals but that They serve each other because They are in love with each other explicit neither in the Feri Creation Myth nor in the Third Road® notes; however, it is implicit in De Grandis’ teaching.

iiThis phrase comes from that wonderful tome of demonology (and stage-magic), The Discovery of Witchcraft by Reginald Scot, Esq. .
