Notest to "Ash"

In doing the opening ritual for class one night, Molly kicked over the incense-holder creating a long arc of ash across the floor. After we got things cleaned up Francesca directed us in a lesson about ash, and I wrote this poem. Thus, I have two poems titled "Ash", and I like them both, but I think the first one is better.
