                                        Home Up Next

AGAPE (ah-gah'-pay) is the Greek word for love.  At St. Stephen Lutheran School, we also say that AGAPE stands for Active Guidance Association of Parents and Educators.

We are directly affiliated with St. Stephen Lutheran Church, acting as a vital support group for our school and faculty.  The participants of AGAPE,  under the direction of our principal, Sara Pfeiffer,  meet quarterly during the school year.  We encourage all who are interested in the progress and welfare of our school to attend the AGAPE meetings.  We invite the parents, relatives, or care givers of the students at St. Stephen Lutheran School, parishioners of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, our pastor, school board members, and community educators to come to these meetings.  We hope that you will offer your support!

 HOW CAN I HELP?

There are many ways that you as an individual or your family can help!  In addition to attending quarterly AGAPE meetings, we welcome your assistance in the classroom and from your home or office.  On the Resource Questionnaire we have areas for you to review and indicate your availability and willingness to support St. Stephen Lutheran School.  We strongly encourage all the parents of our students to be involved.   After receiving these questionnaires, we will divide the responsibilities.   Please mark any or all areas that you would feel comfortable helping with.   Don’t worry, we will not commit you to everything you mark.  We may need your immediate assistance or we may be calling you as the needs arise throughout the school year.

We need your help...thank you for volunteering!
